English Fluency Test — Measure Yourself in 10 Minutes
A practical self-test for English speaking fluency — four tasks, scored on five dimensions, with a level-appropriate practice plan for each result.
Most online "English fluency tests" measure grammar recognition, not speaking fluency. This one measures speaking — four tasks, 10 minutes total, scored on five dimensions. You will know where you stand and what to work on next.
The four tasks
Task 1 — 60-second self-introduction (warm-up)
Speak for 60 seconds about who you are, what you do, and what you are working toward. No preparation. Record it.
Task 2 — Describe a photo
Pick any photo on your phone. Describe it in English for 90 seconds — what you see, what is happening, what came before, what will happen next.
Task 3 — Argue a side
Pick a topic you have an opinion on. Argue one side for 90 seconds. Then switch and argue the opposite side for 90 seconds.
Task 4 — Summarize an article
Pick a news article you read today. Summarize it aloud in 90 seconds — key points, why it matters, your reaction.
The five dimensions to score yourself on
